iPhone will not let any app send a text silently, and Cue would not want to. Every note travels through your own Messages app, from your own number, after you have read it and pressed send yourself.

Privacy
Your people stay on your phone.
Your circle, their dates, your notes and their photos are saved in local storage on your device. There is no Cue account and nothing to sign into.
Cue opens Contacts only when you ask it to import, and keeps only the people you pick. When AI drafting is on, the occasion and the details you wrote for that person are sent to generate a draft and then discarded. Nothing is kept on a server, and nothing is used to train a model.

Cue stays free for up to five people, with drafts written on your device. New subscribers get two weeks of Unlimited free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region.
Questions people ask
Does Cue text people for me automatically?
No, and it cannot. iOS does not allow any app to send a message without you. Cue writes the draft and opens your Messages app with it loaded. You are always the one who presses send, which is the whole point.
Do I need to make an account?
No. There is no sign up, no password, and no profile. Open the app and start adding people.
Where do my contacts and notes live?
In local storage on your iPhone. Cue asks for Contacts access only when you choose to import, and keeps only the people you select. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. Without a subscription Cue keeps reminding you about up to five people and keeps drafting on your device. Subscribe whenever you want the rest back.
How do I cancel?
In Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Cue. Apple handles the billing, so cancelling there stops it everywhere. There is also a Manage Subscription link inside the app.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Cue leans hard on iOS notifications and the native Messages composer, so iPhone came first.
Who makes Cue?
Cue comes from the people behind Boyar Gifts, a small New York shop for people who take being thoughtful seriously and take themselves much less so.
