Support
A real person reads every message. Usually back within a day.

If something is broken, it helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the Cue version from the bottom of the Settings tab, and what you were doing when it happened. If it is a feature you wish existed, just say the thing. We keep a list.
Reminders are not showing up
Work down this list, it is almost always one of these.
- In iOS Settings, Notifications, Cue: make sure Allow Notifications is on, and that Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners are all ticked.
- In Cue, Settings tab, Notifications: Daily reminders needs to be on, and the reminder time is the hour Cue will remind you.
- Check that the person actually has a date. Someone with no birthday and no check in rhythm has nothing to remind you about.
- Focus modes, including Sleep and Do Not Disturb, hold notifications back. Allow Cue in the Focus you use, or expect the reminder when the Focus ends.
- Low Power Mode delays scheduled notifications on some devices.
Importing from Contacts
Cue asks for Contacts permission the first time you import. If you said no and want to change that, go to iOS Settings, Privacy and Security, Contacts, and turn Cue on. Cue keeps only the people you tick on the import screen, and it pulls a birthday only when the contact card already has one. Everything else you can fill in by hand.
A birthday came in on the wrong day
Open the person, tap the date, and correct it. If a contact card stored a birthday without a year, Cue keeps the month and day and leaves the year empty, which is why milestone ages may not show for that person. Add a birth year on their screen and the milestone flags come back.
Managing your subscription
Billing runs through Apple, so all of it lives in one place. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, then Cue. From there you can switch between monthly and yearly, turn off auto renew, or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and lets the period you already paid for run to its end.
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. If Apple turns you down and you think that is unfair, write to us anyway.
Restoring a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app, and Cue thinks you are not subscribed? Open the Settings tab in Cue and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account that bought the subscription, because purchases follow the account and not the device.
Did my circle move to my new phone?
Cue stores your people on the device. If your new iPhone was set up from an encrypted iCloud or Finder backup of the old one, they came across with it. If you set the phone up as new, they did not, and there is no copy on our side to restore from, because we never had one. There is no Cue account by design, and this is the tradeoff that comes with it.
Starting over
Cue's Settings tab has Clear All Data, which erases every person and their occasions from your device. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app removes everything too.
Drafts do not sound like me
Open Settings, then Your Voice, and paste in three or four texts you have actually sent recently. That single field does more than every other dial combined. Then set emoji, length and warmth, and add any house rules, for example never call anyone babe. Per person, the tones you pick on their screen steer it further, and the notes you write about them are what make a line land.
Cue will not send a text for me
Correct, and it never will. iOS does not let any app send a message on your behalf. Cue writes the draft and opens Messages with it filled in, and you press send. That is why what arrives reads like you.
Privacy questions
The privacy policy spells out exactly what stays on your phone and the one small request that leaves it when AI drafting is on. If you want something clarified, ask and we will answer plainly.
Signing in
Cue signs you in with a code we email you; there is no password to remember or lose. If the code has not arrived, check spam and give it a minute. Codes expire quickly, so if one is stale, request a fresh one from the sign-in screen.
